Liam’s passion for working in the substance abuse field came from years of struggling with his own issues. It was through the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous in which Liam found a sense of meaning. His work in treatment started as a volunteer at a residential program on the south shore. Since then, he has held positions ranging from Recovery Support Specialist to admissions coordinator, discharge planner, and most recently patient relations manager. Liam is also a recovery advocate for individuals struggling with addiction on the south shore. He works with both addicts and families to educate them on sustained recovery.
